eStore

eStore is an e commerce application which allows customers to do things such as searching for a product in your store catalog, adding a selected product to a basket, and placing an order for it.
It normally includes:

  • Database that stores information such as product details, customer data, order information, etc.
  • Storefront that displays this information to store visitors (e.g. product detail pages, search pages, checkout pages, etc.)
  • Administration area that allows you, the store administrator, to manage your store. For example, this is where you add products, set up shipping & payment options, process orders, etc.

E store includes two components

  • The storefront, which is what your customers will see (the catalog, the search pages, the checkout pages, etc.), and
  • The administration area, which is what you will use to manage the store.

Application Design
We carefully consider the eCommerce schema to design efficient end user features to make the Internet marketplace pleasant for both customers and site administrators.

 eStore– front end includes the following features:

  • A store catalog that is easy to browse and that presents product information is a way that is both useful and pleasing.
  • A search feature that allows customers to quickly locate a specific product.
  • A customer service area where existing customers can change their account information, view previous orders, etc. There is also a way for customers to retrieve a lost password, edit Account.
  • Shopping Cart has the below features
  • View Cart-customer can view the product details that user selected.
  • Add To cart-In this feature user can add the products to his cart and purchase them using secured payment methods.
  • Multiple Shipping.
  • Add/view Review-Review for a product can be written so that the other users can see them and but the product.
  • Tell a Friend-Provides an easy interface within for visitors to refer the site URL to their friends.
  • Wish list-Ability to add a product to the wish list.
  • Special pages where customers can easily find products that are on sale, featured products, products that belong to the same brand, etc.
  • Customer can add the products to his wish list, and can maintain the addresses of his friends in the address book.
  • A Support Ticket Feature to add the support tickets for the products that the customer needs support and submit the ticket to the admin.
  • A Shop feature where customer  can create shops of his own and can add  categories and products and put the products for sale  and can display his/her shops in the front end
  • The Chat feature provides the ability to talk live with other people on the Internet.

eStore– Administration area includes the following features:

  • A way to easily set general store settings such as the way products should be displayed (e.g. how many products will be shown on each catalog page).
  • A module to create and manage product categories, and order the way in which they are displayed on the storefront.

Site Configurations This module has options to manage email id's for admin, sales, support, and contact address, Manage Subscriptions where admin can create new subscriptions and will be able to manage them, Meta Tags provision to add and change the meta tags for SEO, Payment Configurations where admin can maintain different types of payment configurations like authorize.net, and Manage Shipping cost.

Catalog This module has the features such as Manage Categories where admin can add and manage different types of categories in which the products can be maintained. Manage Products where admin can add, edit and delete. Ability to add product Options and Values which provides the ability to add different attributes like colors, sizes etc. for the products.

Product Inventory, where the stock can be added and the stock details can be maintained and a bulk import for the products and stocks and download of the product details are available.

CMS Module, where Admin can create and manage different pages for the site and also can  Create a Template Load / Edit / Delete / View, Upload an image.

Shop Module has the following features Manage Navigation Buttons which is used to create and manage the navigation buttons that will be displayed and will be available in the shop modules in the storefront. The site admin can add the button images  with different text colors, text hover and the button text, Manage Fonts where different fonts can be added in this module to make it available for the users creating their own shops.

Tools This module contains open source tools like Blog, Chat and Forum

Support Center which provides an attractive alternative to higher-cost and complex customer support systems which is simple and reliable. Easily manages and organizes all your support requests and responses in one place while providing the customers with accountability and responsiveness they deserve .Support Category feature provides the ability to add the categories that the admin wants to provide the support for.

Wizards Module has the Banner Management System where admin can add unlimited number of banners that can be managed in the storefront.

Reports Module has the features View Orders where the order details of the products by the users can be viewed by the admin, View Customer Reviews feature where the reviews given by the users for the products can be viewed and managed in the admin panel, Audit Trail feature where The price changes of a product can be viewed by the admin.
